Boomarang and exploding bugs

I used the brang and caught an exploding bug and sent it to the rock on the ledge. No problem - up on the ledge 2 plants come down from the ceiling, they are now gone, But there is another rock at the back of the room and I can't figure out how to destory it. The boomarang and bomb wont fly that far. Any ideas or help appreceiated.

it will bring the bomb back to you
