That whole Magic armor side quest is a waste of time. The so called "discounts" at the downtown Malo Mart don't make sense because you financed both the bridge and the shop!! Hyrule taxpayers should pay for that! No good royal family. Anyways, you can find 100 rupee chests in various places. I think that the quickest repeatable one is to take the Cuckoo flying service in lake Hylia and get to the very top of the step platform without falling in.

Go to my thread! It tells you how to find 200 rupees and if you go into the cave across the big bridge on huryle field you can go to the bottom to find 100 rupees in a chest! Problem solved .
