A freehand sword in a zelda game would SUCK. It's just the way the game is set up makes freehand very, very uncomtrable, difficult and pointless.
It will have some moves like the parry that have motion sensored, but the main sword winging is with the B button.

you may be right because when you hit something there is a bounce and in freehand you would swing all the way.

i love the fact you can hit people with your shield by using the nunchuck controll

I think that free hand would be very hard because the wiimote is the fairy isn't it? so mabey when you are fighting a boss and its locked on you could have more freedom
