    Did you notice that in one trailer there was a map of a lake. However I also noticed that the map was exactly the same as lake hylia in Oot. Even down to the little waterfall.

    The old area he's in is obviously the graveyard, or was the graveyard... Technically still is, bein as dead bodies are still buried beneath it, plus it seems although its not really used now, it still has the odd few tombstones.
