Alright I found a way to do it.

Remember when you went to Death Mountain and that huge boulder almost fell on top of you? Go there and Midna will warp you and the boulder back to Zora's Domain, where the huge hot boulder will melt the ice.

haha me too, I thought when she said warp it was just an ordinary warp, didn't realise she was looking to warp the actual rock..
