w3sl3y: to catch a fish, equip it to B (press [-] to get to the equipment screen and press B when highlighting the rod), stand on the wharf, face the water, throw out your rod with B. Wait for a bit, then when the thing is below the water, pull up the wiimote over your shoulder and hold it over your shoulder just like when you are pulling in a fish in real life.
