ive noticed it progressing while staying in one area. While sitting in the fishing hole and not touching the controls for a while, i noticed it go through a complete time cycle....afternoon to night to morning to day, etc...
Ive also noticed thr same thing in hyrule field, outside the castle, and in various other places. it does seem like it takes longer than in OoT though.
You Have To Be In Hyrule Field, Castle Town, Faron Woods, Death Mountain, The Fishing Hole, Lake Hylia, Upper Zoras River, Zoras Domian And A Couple Or Other Places I Probably Forgot

Time doesn't progress when you're in a city or village because things are different between night and day and they don't have the animation for people going into houses.
When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much screwed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"
