Anybody else like hockey? i do, and im glad the sharks got guerin, check that stole guerin for a pick in the worst draft ever, a healthy scratch, and a 5'8 prospect. think they also filled a hole with rivet. the mike grier of the D. was suprised to see Ryan Smyth go from Edmonton, apparently they couldn't reach a contract. Wings took a big risk on Bertuzzi both on and off the ice. Ducks suprised me with no moves other than Bob May, and Nashville already mortaged their future for 20 games with an overpaid, aging Forgsberg? thoughts, anyone? bueler?

This years NHL trade deadline wasn't as exciting as last years but the Canuck's aquired two good players. Brent Sopel from the LA Kings and Bryan Smolinski. Unfortunately the Canuck's lost tonight with both men playing however they seemed to play pretty well.

ya, the Nucks made some good moves but i think Calgary might have gotten the better of them before when they traded for Stuart. o well, should be a good race for the 3 seed.
