Noobs Vs. Newbs

This is inspired by the "Rude People" thread, as it briefly touched upon 'Noobs' and 'Newbs'. What are your definitions for these two terms?

As far as I knew 'Newbs' were people who were new to the forum/gaming arena and still had alot to learn/understand, while noobs were people who were deliberate jerks (notably in the gaming arena, as in the infamous Counter-Strike campers with the AWP, players in Metroid Prime Hunters who only use Trace for his Imperialist/Invisibility, or Weavel for his Half-Turret).

What are your thoughts on this one guys?

n00b = tries and still sucks
newb = new player that may have potential, but may just become a n00b.
n00bs generally are rude to people trying to teach them while newbs try to learn.

noobs can't win a game without using some kind of cheat.

N00bs = anoy all, think that spaming is funny,have numbers ather there name, dont have a avi/sig, think gaia is fun, never read a forum before posting and say hi in the wrong place

As far as I'm aware, Newb is short for Newbie. Noob is an internet slang version of that, and n00b is a "1337 speak" version of it. To me, none of them have different meanings at all, other than how people interpret them. Usually just mix it up. Sometimes newb, sometimes noob. Usually it's just as a joke between the two of us.

newb = new to the forums, has read some things.

On other forums =N00b requests /h/ without ten posts or spams up to ten posts the requests /h/
