    Scanner

    How are scanners now a day I think I need one. Are they realistic enough where they are able to scan photographs an get really really clear images. THis is related to the wii ummmm because I think it needs one. Just wondering guys.

    Sure, there are fantastic scanners available - there have been for some time, but there's a ton of cheap stuff out there too, with low grade CCD's, poor optics, etc. I'd include most of the multi-function stuff in this too - I mean they're *decent* for simple document scans, low-grade photography, but you have to step up to a more mid priced product to get into decent mid-grade photographic reproduction (like a V700 or V750-M).
