I've recently been overcome with an unquenchable thirst for techno. does anyone know any good techno bands/groups/artists that i should listen to?

What kind of "techno" are you into? Drum and Bass? 2-Step? Ambient? I can give you a whole slew of groups to listen to depending on what you like. Here are my recent listens regarding electronic music:

daft punk thay are the best ever

Daft Punk are more electronica than techno , but they are a good group none the less

i don't know of any specific types of techno, but i'm looking for some stuff w/ a good beat, something party/rave status.
