Those green dots are called 'Reputation' and they show how well respected you are around the forum. Having more doesn't mean you're a better member though, so don't worry.

Just avoid the red blocks.

It's a good idea to help distinguish the helpfull people from the n00bs on forums, however some people on here don't understand it. So it fails.

This is not appreciated and would usually result in getting no rep at all. Also doing something like that is looked down around Wiichat and will probably make your reputation around here as a noob.
