Mine matches me perfectly, but there's other people with my star sign that I think are total contrasts with it, surely I'd get along with those people, but I don't see any of those traits in a lot of people.Originally Posted by owlsgo

Being an astrophysics student (i.e. someone who actually knows what stars and planets are), I'm naturally going to say astrology is a load of crap. The force which the planets and stars exert on someone is negligibly small. Also, the stars of a particular constellation like Taurus or Libra or whatever are not actually related to each other: If you were to go off in a spaceship and fly somewhere else in the universe, you'd see the stars in completely different positions. Not only that, but the stars actually move around the galaxy over time. So how can a person's life possibly be affected by the zodiac constellation the Sun happens to be in when they're born?
So what's the horoscope for July 16?

In a way, yes. A few stars go supernova when they run out of fuel, and the matter that gets blown off into space can get recycled into new stars, planets, and everything on them.Originally Posted by owlsgo

Basically everyone sees some of it all in themself, if you would give me a completely different star sign and label it Taurus, I'd probably believe it because people are subjective. It's not specific enough, and they can't be, they're just planets, and the method is extremely old, I hear that star signs are of uneven length and there's a snake sign, called Ophiuchisomething, I'll have to look that up.
