I don't give a rat's ass about any of you guys
Reading this sparked my interest a bit. (As well as some second party influences...)
So ranging from "complete strangers I steal Wii information off of" to "I have no "real" friends", where do you stand? Do you actually give two shits about your fellow Wiichatters?Originally Posted by Singhsong

hmmm interesting question
i don't think i care that much, but i'm not afraid to meet people
say if me, cantgetawii and prez are all going to some concert in toronto, if they want to meet up i'd be up for it......however i'm not going to pm them and say "hey let's meet up"
the mario that's roomed with mush
my wii is not connected to the internet, so i can't play brawl online for a bit....please do not spam inbox with friend code requests
I highly doubt that I am ever gonna meet up with someone on the internet, it just seems risky to me.
I mean anybody can just say anything about themselves, and there is no way to prove it or prove against it. It's hard to really experience someones true personality through just text, so you really never know how they act IRL. Although I guess webcam chat would make more sense, but thats just not my thing.
If you meet other people through the internet its cool with me though, I really have nothing against it. You just gotta make sure that they are who they say they are.
You guys are cool and all, but I think it would just be awkward meeting all of you IRL. If I was drunk enough it wouldn't be awkward though I guess.
You want to sit down but you sold your chair.
So you just stand there.

Meh, if i see someone ask somone to meet up with them at some remote location, i usually dont think the people, but about what might happen.
Is the asker a freako?? Is the receiver ready-and-willing? Is the receiver a rapist waiting to wait the rapist? is the rapist the kind of guy that enjoys being raped? vice versa?
Add my PSN for some good shit~iDorkfish
I'll just say...I disagree with you on that...It's hard to really experience someones true personality through just text,
I said I wouldn't kill her. And I stand behind that 99%!es the asker a freako?? Is the receiver ready-and-willing? Is the receiver a rapist waiting to wait the rapist? is the rapist the kind of guy that enjoys being raped? vice versa?

Well... I don't really care too much about my "fellow" WiiChatters, because I know none of them really care about me. On the other hand; I DO care about certain people I play RF with, probably because we can just instantly PM each other.
^Thanks for the sweet sig, manred!^

Just because you're on an internet forum doesn't mean you can't make strong friendships. After a while, I started truly caring about some people here. I talk to them frequently, miss them when they aren't around, etc. There is a group of guys + one girl here that I absolutely adore and would drop nearly everything to meet if/when I could.
People on the internet are real.
And, Brawny/Frogger? Not the only couple around here...so...that further sums up my view.

i actually care, like celeste said, just because were on the internet doesn't really make a difference. were only limited to chilling on a couch with each other, but besides that, the ones i do "care" about are the ones that i know about. the people who come here regularly and have no need to lie, dont try to impress anyone, just be themselves. the real reason behind the fact "you cant make real friends on the internet" is people may not be who they seem to be. but why not just trust them on that and if they are being fake, take it for what its worth. but again, there are people who i know arent fake on here cause i trust them from what i know. trust is the number one ingredient of a relationship!

Ahhhh wall of text with run-ons abound!
But reading your last phrase leads me to agree with the rest of that.
