    Not by a long shot. To set you on the right direction, I'll just say that I've frequently argued against silent protagonists in video games, and I prefer well rounded characters as opposed to "flat" ones like Mario.

    Samus: I already said I didn't like flat characters.
    Cloud: I don't like jerkass emo losers either.
    Vaan: He's practically a background character. He's only in the game 'cos the laws of Japanese RPGs require the main character to be an orphaned male teenager.
