Thats because the UK has the " Jap-Spec" models, the same models that were produced in Japan. Australia on the other hand, only came in 4 door sedan/hatch, GM ( General motors) but their old boat ancor 1.6L & 1.8L engines into the car, providing lower power but greater torque.

i'd still like mine to have the CA18DE ( same as the 180sx) engine it was origianlly assigned to these models


I have Jap-Spec parts here, the front bumper that you guys have over there are extremly rare over here, only 3 people in australia have the ones with the fog light holes ( " Series 2 Jap-Spec front bumper") and i'm one of 4 people in Australia to havet he ribbed Series one front bumper. they can fetch a price of well over $500 for one in good condition.
