Seems that I still had the 2 special episodes left. Already finished the first one. They ramped up the challenge compared to the original episodes.
Earthbound Zero why you so good?
Played through the desert section of it today and got to Young town, also found the Mine easter egg and beat the dragon for the 6th melody tune. Almost there! 6/8 tunes, only two left and I'll be ready for the final fight.
Spoiler Alert!Spoiler Alert!
I can regularly make it to the final stage in EoSD. Problem is that I rely far too much on bombs, so by the time I make it to the final stage, I have to rely on actual skill instead. Which is virtually none. Thankfully, practice mode seems to be helping me improve since it sticks to only one stage at a time.
Unlike with Kingdom, Dokapon Journey is broken lawl. Lack of boundaries which prevent overleveling 'n the obtaining of late-game equipment chapters early is a problem. The fact field magic can actually kill is also pretty bad, even if that takes up your turn.
After accidentally stumbling over to a ridiculously late-game shop, unintentionally avoiding monster spaces along the way, I got retarded-good equipment since I was doin' grand in funds as of late. Resulted in some hefty grinding via saving high-value towns in the area. I'd be even higher than lv. 27; whereas everyone else is lv. 17 or lower; if that damn Darkling didn't get rid'a my weapon on their last turn of Darklingnessdomnessess.
S'pose I should'a had the CPUs on hard as opposed t' normal since it's really the same game as Kingdom (but broken).
All my Saturns have started to work, all equipment tests ok,
Looks like ill be streaming the first two discs of Panzer Dragoon Saga later
Mages suck early-game in Dokapon Journey... attack magic havin' limited uses is just too large of a nerf (was said nerf even necessary, I wonder?). If M Cast restored casts without needin' to be hit by an opponent's attack magic, I'd say bulky mages would be good. But sadly that ain't the case.
Dokapon Journey is so broken 'n unbalanced it ain't even funny. T'is a shadow of the luck-based greatness that is Dokapon Kingdom. But I s'pose that's only natural since Sting didn't develop it...
I bloody love my NES clone.
Its just a smaller NES
It comes with pads that have the wrong connector on the end
Pad ports are the wrong way round (port 2 is one, port 1 is 2)
