Yep, Dokapon Journey is terribly broken and utterly inferior t' Kingdom as a result. Never again will I play it.

The Hard CPUs literally cheat what rolls they get, but still manage t' lose to me badly...

No longer tolerant of AC:III multiplayer not workin', I decided to boot up Revelations for some nostalgia... but not really since it ain't like multiplayer had at all changed from Revelations. 'Sides from visual polish, better netcode (aside from the inability to play the ****in' game) for noticeably less lag, and balancing guff. Speakin' of balance I was expectin' to be inhaling an oil refinery's worth of smoke (bomb), but much to my surprise, there's a ton of newbies still playin' Revelations multiplayer.

On that note, I really miss havin' a dedicated slot for ranged weapons. In some game modes I'mma use Knives over Mute just 'cause I miss 'em. Never did know 'bout (proper) knife stuns back in Revelations, so it's 'bout time I learned. also charge w00t

Well, time to ride on the Thread Express.

All the Metroid games: F-ing amazing. I love thinking in video games with complex level design to badass boss fights.
Before I wasn't into the Metroid serious due to the fact the early 2000s my brother got an XBox with Halo.
Don't get me wrong I love Halo 1 and 2; in my opinion the best Sci-Fi game I ever played yet. Since I didn't know anything about any information about the Gamecube I never even knew about Metroid.
Until recently, I bought me self a Wii capable with Gamecube titles. I bought tons of GC title I saw on commercial when I was a wee lad. I have heard about Metroid Prime, but I wasn't able to find thus lost interest in it.
Couple years have past, I was walking around the Flea Market (Swapmeet whatever you'd like to call it) with my folks and saw couple of retro games (by the way, I'm an AVID collector). I stumbled upon a heroine bounty hunter named Samus Aran. Luckily for me it costed me 7 bucks. Nice art work, couple of scuffs around the corners, came with everything including Metroid Fusion ads and Nintendo Power (;_; boy do I miss 'em), and a really good condition disk. I got excited because at least I could play something new to catch some up on the series since it was my first. Got home, fired up my console, hooked it to my home theater system and BOOM! I thought I was gonna die; Dying of awesome intro music of course. Theeen a second time, BOOM!!! The whole music changes into another awesome music which happens to hit me with nostalgia for times to come. The scene was awesome with virus like, germ like, organism like....will you know how it goes. Then the third time, BOOM!!!!! Beginning of the game was speechless. You are just alone, looking around the environment, silent, and pressing on forward to do your mission. I could go on, but I would like you guys to know how it affected me like nothing before. It was made 2002 that totally redefined First Person, and, still holds up to this day. Crazy environments, crazy aliens, and so much more. Retro Studios made me realize that there is so much potential to make a 2D sidescroller to a 3D masterpiece of complex environment. First Person Adventure for the win!!!

Now at Recreation. My mind is fuzzy around these parts. Oh right, the energy weapon-resistant toxic spiders.

Halo is a fun game, but saying it's the best Sci-fi game you've played is worrying. You need to play moar Sci-fi games. Don't know what consoles you own, but Metroid is a decent series to start with. Don't know if you've actually played all the Metroid games or you're implying they're all great based on Prime.

What a coincidence. I bought my copy of Prime at flea market as well for 5 bucks back during release. Good times.

I've just become more tolerant of the kid. Partially because I felt bad making fun of him in front of Sora fangirls. Sexism at work again.

Much as I love AC:III, I'm enjoyin' Revelations moreso. This is simply 'cause it actually works... well, that 'n I miss Escort and the maps. Said maps can be terribly unbalanced for Artifact Assault (Mt. St. is practically unwinnable on the high-side), but I prefer 'em anyways. Also, the Sentinel.

I've already mastered perfect knife-stuns. On my first try I got it on a sprinting pursuer lol. Difficult my ass. Mute might be ridiculously more reliable and much better suited to engaging multiple pursuers, but I don't care. Mute stuns are lame 'n easy. Knife stuns are fun and actually feel like an accomplishment when said knife stun is a perfect knife stun.

That, and I refuse t' do bullshit stunlocking with Mute 'n Smoke while abusing Boost Cooldowns. I'm beyond such simple mode strategies at this point, 'n if I weren't I'd have to be ashamed.

Trading for a strange Beggar's Bazooka makes Soldier a more diverse and fun character. Changes the strategy typically used for him. Rocket Jumping's a bit troublesome and impractical since one might run out of ammo quicker, so the shotgun is recommended over gunboats. Feels great to kill classes with it. If only they'd re-release the shotgun now so I can get my hands on it.

Steal the Artifact is my new favorite game mode of all time. Nothin' feels better than givin' the slip to six pursuers for two minutes straight with a few stuns here 'n there, finishin' off with a dramatic taunting exit. Better yet, it lets me actually show off my free runnin' skills. The only other mode where good movement matters is Assassinate, but it ain't like ya ever escape from pursuers in said mode. I'm really saddened StA didn't make it t' AC:III... I can understand why they dropped Escort, but StA is a great game mode.

    Also, prestiged.
