A mentality oh-so common in most every multiplayer game, sadly...

Its a shame that its taken over, i'm still somewhat in the mindframe of that however which is terrible, i've been trying to change by purposely playing with players who are worse then me. It makes games that are co-op based a lot more enjoyable when nobody is trying to be smart and trolling.

Played The Binding of Isaac earlier, died on every run in Sheol either before the Boss room or during the Satan fight to an explosive leech(Curse you leeches!). Having another few goes as Isaac and his oh-so-mighty-n-OP D6 is doing nothing for me so far.

All the hardass clanners are plaguing AC:R at all times of the day, lately... Bigots who camp on roof tops or abuse boost cooldowns to stun lock are the bane of all multiplayer experiences, in that they completely destroy the spirit of the game just for the sake of winning a fraction easier.

Luckily, rarely are these clan bastards in the same lobby to successfully abuse such tactics. And even when they are, it ain't very hard to just leave into another lobby. Gaming in the middle of the day sure has it's pluses. All the more motivation to work night-shift jobs.

Finished AC2, now moving on to Brotherhood. I have a feeling the crackpot theory side is only gonna get worse.

Oh, and if the story isn't robust enough for ya, look into the books. The games don't cover quite a few important... details. Or so I'm told.

I would've been happy if I was just an Assassin taking out corrupt guys, without the whole "saving the world from doom" schtick. Desmond parts have a potential to improve. And The Truth.... no.

I was absurdly skeptical of The Truth and all that mythical mumbo jumbo at first too. You pretty much have to look up all that junk on the AC wiki to understand it lol (which I don't recommend doing until you've finished Revelations).

Even after understanding it, I can certainly say that the main plot in 2012/"those who came before" junk could be better.

AC is so confusing anyway. It ties so many conspiracy theories together with cultures around the world. Even if you understand it all it still does not make sense.

There's a line between complex storytelling and just dribble. This is the worst case I've seen for a western dev that I can recall. Though other elements save it.

^ I'm inclined to agree. I'll repeat what I've already said once: "I damn-well don't play AC for the story ".

Decided to do some advanced co-op for once, since I'll get damn rusty if I keep wasting time with boring 'n easy normal co-op.

The entire TF2 community is obsessed with decoding banana peels. I'm not making this up. I have a feeling the entire crew at Valve is a buch of trolls and are enjoying themselves. Gaben certainly is.
