If you do get it, beware that there is a game breaking glitch if you save in the PEC room puzzle. Just make sure you save BEFORE entering and do the entire puzzle in one go. If you don't have time to finish, just turn it off. Do not save. It WILL corrupt your gamesave. IDK if they patched it or not. Hopefully they did.
Heh, funny that you post this literally five minutes after I started downloading Zero Escape.

This glitch, is it in 999 or the game I'm downloading? And regarding 999, I might look into it, but I dunno.

Sorry I should have been more clear. It is in Zero Escape. There are references to 999 in Zero Escape but it explains them if you haven't played it.

EDIT: Apparently the glitch is also in the Crews Quarters so beware and save before that part as well (you will know before you go in the rooms which you're going into so save before those and finish in one go.)

Okay. Does the game let you know when you're about to start this "PEC Room Puzzle", or does it throw you in without much warning? Somewhat specific question, but I'm hesitant to Google too much due to the looming threat of spoilers.

The door will say PEC on it so you will know. But I just researched it and turns out the eshop version is fixed apparently so you shouldn't have to worry. I'd still play it safe and do that room (and crews quarters apparently) in one go and save before you enter.

Sweet, thanks for the info. I probably won't save in there anyway, like you suggested, since I'm pretty paranoid.

Final Mix definitely doesn't have ya trail blazing through worlds. Mainly 'cause there's actually things t' do in the world, places generally aren't just empty dwelling for enemies like with DDD (which I felt was DDD's only real flaw). Though ya might get that vibe for RE: CoM, as the "plot" t' move things along in half of the worlds is just recycled trash from KH1. Some'a the worlds are essentially filler... like with DDD. Definitely CoM's biggest flaw IMO. Enjoyable the first time through, but makes for very poor replay value.

Ah, awesome. To be totally honest I found DDD to be a sorta mediocre game, but I'm sure I'd find a slower paced variant with more level content to be a lot more enjoyable. I think the story is way better too, from what I've read on the wiki.

If I end up liking it, perhaps I'll get the future games in the series. I'm happy this new edition is coming out, I probably would have never gotten another KH game aside from maybe KH4 otherwise. I have an especially hard time getting motivated to play older games nowadays.

DDD is definitely better than mediocre IMO, even with that glaring flaw.

You'll generally find that the pre/interquel games (RE: COM, 358/2 Days, Coded, DDD), bar Birth By Sleep, are lackin' in plot substance, 'specially in comparison to the numbered games. Ya probably will enjoy the mainstay games' stories moreso than DDD, 'specially since with Final Mix (and RE: CoM afterwards) you won't be relyin' on a plot summary to make sense'a things.
