Finally got Day Z working. Problem is, the newest update removed the starter pistol. What happens is that now there is no means of defending yourself unless you find a weapon, which isn't easy at all. Weapons are usually in towns, which are filled with zombies, but you can't kill the zombies when you don't have a weapon, etc.

That video was before the update, makung it null and void. I got lucky and spawned by a military building filled with loot. The good thing about no guns at spawn is that people have less reasons to kill you and may even join you if both are weaponless.
