^ I've already heard enough to know ICO is a great game (I own and have beaten many a time it's spiritual, Shadow of the Colossus), but I'm curious 'bout a more personal perspective. What made the game so enjoyable?
ya
Though, the sheer derpness of the previous Feebas is already missed. ... Never thought I'd miss any sort'a Feebas. blehhhhhhhhh

Gameplay. I think that sums it up. For me it was the combination of the puzzles, atmosphere, and having to lead & protect a very delicate fragile person through the whole adventure. The amazing emotional involvement that the game pulled you into created an experience that I have never had with a game before. The game will leave a mark on you.
I will say one thing about Shadow of Colossus, I have never been so overwhelmed by the magnitude of the size of those creatures. When I first played that game, I said to myself, no way. The first thought was to have your character to run away. I would place that game next to this one in brilliant game making. Not the same in execution, but the same in genius.
