Aye, these days poppin' a pill is the answer for everythin'. 'Specially if the pill is an unnecessary solution. Whether a person ailed goes lookin' for it or a doctor prescribes it, it happens too much.

Not that it has much t' do with medicinal R&D, 'course. People'll continue t' overprescribe and rely on medication for as long as society ain't a utopia I'd imagine, so that shouldn't stop said research into better medicines.

I don't recall the harder drugs being the cause of entire governments and families to endure so much suffering. And then, you realize that the buyers and source of the problem are your neighbors, your classmates, people without reasoning. You resort to its benefits? I didn't realize you took Marijuana for its medicinal purposes. Nothing wrong with a prescription. Or is it as I suspect, for being a contributor to the constant turmoil I've had to witness?

Can't remember the last time I downed a medication outside'a aspirin or pain killers, believe it was melatonin t' help with the insomnia. Probably been a good five years since then, give or take. Been at least twice as long since I've took somethin' for actual sickness.

Finally performed out skit today for the Church. Nerves were killing me. It was fun though. And the best part? I had a hood on my face so people couldn't really walk up to me and congratulate me on "what an excellent job I did".

Dad just had his 50th yesterday, was pretty much a snoozefest because all of my ideas are constantly ignored, what ever happened to having fun rather then sitting and talking until stupid times. I go to sleep at 4AM and people are still in the living room gabbing, was a wonder I even got to sleep and the reason I did originally was because people kept annoying me (thanks alcohol).

This week's been uneventful and boring.
