My mom and dad divorced a long time before he got cancer. I just can't fathom her heartlessness. My mom was bawling all day yesterday because my stupid shit of a sister hates her. And now she's trying to get emancipated and... Ugh. I want to beat her so bad for what she's doing to my mom.

Your sister's petitioning for emancipation so that she can go through with the lawsuit, then. I ain't no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure if ya prevent her from bein' emancipated, you prevent the lawsuit from havin' any chance of goin' through. If there's some major way ya can help, it's in the venue of preventin' her emancipation.
