    You get with friends, and you do missions. I think Borderlands is much better, but I've only played Diablo II. Wasn't a fan of it.

    I chose getting Torchlight 2( updated Diablo 2 clone) over Borderlands 2. It seems the same. Kill stuff, get loot, repeat. I still consider Monster Hunter as the bright future of the genre.

    Trying to motivate myself to play: Hat Fortress 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, and Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

    Borderlands 1 was on sale on steam for like 5 or 8 bucks during the summer sale. Didn't seem that interesting, 'specially with multi-platform games being terribly ported to the PC being more common nowadays.
