Judgin' from said cheesy title, I trust you'll be makin' a B-list movie 'bout your heroic exploits as well?
Cheesy thread title is cheesy.
I just wanted to make a thread for the few times I'll be able to get on here while in Afghanistan.
Not much heroism to be had if the Taliban wont come out to fight cause they think it's too cold outside. Sadly, this is not a joke.
Sup Wiichat? So besides kitchen duty cause lucky me mine platoon got first shift of taking care of the base while everyone else goes on missions, nothing much has happened
Actually: stir-fry (Chicken or beef), shrimp scampi, chicken alfredo, assorted veggies and fruits, yougurts, and pie (Pecan or cherry)
The eating like kings thing will end soon when we get left with Chef Bouradie style spaghetti and mystery meat.
I can't quite remember the last time I had stir-fry.
Huh, I'm surprised it ain't... uh, "mystery meat" from the start. Whomever in the government allotting the spendin' on decent food for soldiers clearly understands the impact on morale a stomach full'a good eats has.
From what I've heard; possibly a load'a shit; the Navy ain't as kind. Soup, slop 'n bread. All day every day.
Maybe back in the day, but as you said, food effects morale, and the government knows it
You should include more general stuff about what you do for us military noobs =/
