MY DS's top screeen is broken...

So, I got a DS the first Christmas It came out, and one day I opened and the top screen was broken(It was in my book bag on the floor >.< I kept putting off trying to get it fixed and now with all the really cool games out I really want it to work again. I know the warranty is long gone by now.

So, can I get this fixed by sending it to Nintendo, and if I can, any clue how much it might cost?

Nintendo will charge an arm and a leg to repair it, Your better of probably saving up and buying a new one or trying to repair it youself.
