    Here is how this began.
Kid DOES NOT follow instructions with Wii, and does not wear the wrist strap. Kid plays Wii sports, and stupidly chucks the Wiimote at $5,999 plasma screen tv. Wiimote breaks tv, kid panics. Kid intentionally breaks strap, and then breaks news of this unfortunate "accident" to his rich suburbanite mom or dad. Mom or Dad figure Wii is defective, contact lawyer friend for options. You know the rest.

I say we take down the lawyers website. Hard.

In Canada.. We don't sue people like this. Very sad indeed that people would even think to stoop so low.

I can't believe the idiocy of some people. Geniunely. The wording in the suit ("Owners of the Nintendo Wii reported that when they used the Nintendo remote and wrist strap, as instructed by the material that accompanied the Wii console, the wrist strap broke and caused the remote to leave the userís hand.") indicates that somehow whilst holding the remote firmly, the strap snaps of its own accord, thus causing the owners hand to suddenly lose all its strength and fling the remote across the room.

I for one have sent an email to Green Welling indicating my disgust at this lawsuit, I would hope others would as well.
    lmao

Q: So... if i start swinging my lousville slugger... and u know... let go of it swinging in a crazy frenzie of fervor hitting my family members and friends... can i sue "them" the bat company for inflicting pain on my family by not providing a suitable enough gripping surface on my bat that ultimately caused me to "slip" n give them bloody heads? I mean im only having fun with it right? Its not my fault they aren't making it up to my beastly standards.

sent a message :I am disgusted to hear about your laqwsuit against nintendo,it is not the companies' fault if someone loses grip of the wii controller because they are not careful enough to actually hold onto it. You stated that people had their wrist strap break CAUSING them to let go. In this instance they would have been relying on the strap to hold onto rather than holding the actual remote.

hehe, tell me what you think

Thanks to Pepper for the sig

    heheh

I replyed with analogy: wii remote is like a car. you can swing it as fast as you can but just like driving a car at top speeds it cant be safe....

i also pointed out that car manufacturers are not sued because their cars can drive at 160 mph and speed limit is 65
