    Need help with the wii standby

    my light on the wii the litle power light doesnt turn red wen i turn the wii of with the remote its orange my friends turns red i have to manually hold the power on the wii 3 sec thens it turns red too is this a problem

    i think its coz you have the connect24 thing turned on and your friends hasnt but its not a problem...

    the power button on the wiimote puts the wii on standby (orange) while pressing the power button on the wii shuts down the wii (red). activating connect24 allows the wii to access information while in standby mode.

    Yeah, I think it's because of connect24. Just go into your settings to solve this problem...

    Correct!

    Red = Standby (Like a PS2)
    Orange = WiiConnect24 On (Still on Standby but able to receive messages)

    Wii slot goes Blue when you have a new message too! - Incase you DIDN'T Know
