Waiting until next year...

I was just wondering, I am getting a Wii for Christmas next year; but I could get it earlier if I wanted, but I'd rather wait... but I have a couple concerns.

(1) Is this white Wii some sort of limited edition, because I love it and hopefully if other colors are available this one will continue to be available with it.

(2) Whats all this about Wii Sports only being bundled for a short time? So if I wait until next year I probably will have to buy Wii Sports with the Wii or what?
