    slot light on ................

    i sent myself an e-mail,
    my wii was off at that time so the slot light went on ,
    eveything ok...
    so i turned my wii on... the slot light goes out... what's the deal? i want it to stay on (i still didn't open my e-mail)...

    and i wonder how i can make it shine permanently instead of glowing on and off

    can somebody help me?

    i know this maby has been posted but i don't find my answers....

    The slot lights up when your console is off and is connected to wii connect 24 and has a new email. Sadly it goes off when you turn the console on..

    It only stays on when you receive a new message since the last time you turned off your console. Once you turn it on, there's no more "new" messages anymore even if you don't read it.

    I have done this, too, but the next day, even if the console is off and I didn't view my mail, the light goes out. Whats up with that?
