Reseting the Wii Controller ?

Hi,

I got my 2nd Controller with Wii Play and everythings been fine for the last week.

Today, i try and turn it on and nothing happens !

The batterys are fine ( as i have swapped them out and tested them on my main controller ).

Does anyone know a 'hard reset' for the remote controller ??

I'm not getting any blue lights at all.. ( I've tried re-syncing etc )

if you are not even getting any blue lights even when the battery is inserted then you may have a faulty remote. otherwise if you are getting lights but not connecting to the wii then turn everthing off at the plug point and try again.

ive had a rare issue of the motes not wanting to sync.. i just unplugged the wii and plugged it back in... only happened once so far.. but the lights atleast flashed at that point

this may sound too simple but have you checked that the battery is inserted correctly first?

and your original remote works fine and the wiiplay remote is the only one causing the problem, am i correct?
