Hey I didn't say I agree, don't shoot me cuz I'm the messenger.Originally Posted by ilikecookies

But on the other hand, there are games that I could never see a 12 or even 13 year old beating such as Need For Speed: Carbon. As I said, I'm 14 and that game was incredibly hard. I beat it, though, but only 84% of it.
My honest opinion is that Nintendo should start producting some more Mature or some Teen games. I know Nintendo is trying to stay family oriented, but in my opinion, it may lose the console war if it doesn't produce Mature (or Teen) games.

^^^
is it actually, there moving towards the mature side right now.
-Man Hunt 2 (voted the second most violent game ever)
-No More Heroes (Said to be more violent then Killer 7)
-Splinter Cell: Double Agent
-The Godfather: Blackhand Edition (choking someone with the wiimote? I say that's more violent then button mashing ^ ^)
-Mortal Kombat Armageddon
-Project H.A.M.M.E.R
-Sadness
-Scarface
-Far Cry
and a lot more...

I think out of all the consoles the Wii is the most universal, and i'm happy with that.
Possibly more voilent, but definately a lot more fun! (in that game)Originally Posted by RivalDestiny

My friend bought a 360 over the Wii because the Wii was 'too kiddy' for him. He then came round and played the console and really enjoyed himself. My 6 year old cousin prefers the standard controllers, namely the 360, to the Wii remote as he is better at button bashing. Also, the Wii is a great console for parties and having a few beers while playing, i'd hope kids werent doing that, but who knows these days! /sounding very old :S (im only 21)
But each to their own, and let there be kiddie games.. they can be a good laugh and so can the mature ones.

This is pretty surprising. I've actually seen a lot of positive comments by Microsoft about nintendo, and then things like this.

I'm dust in the wind
Wait for me forever
if Wii owners want something else once they turn 14, then why, OH WHY, mr. gates did I desire so strongly to have a Wii nearly a decade after turning 14? Because it's a bunch of unfounded propoganda that's why.
game companies don't know anything. it's up to us the consumers to tell them how to do business. same way with movies. the studios don't know jack about what the audience wants, we have to tell them through ticket sales and message boards.
