Offical Wii Launch Countdown (NA)

64 more days, hey! Nintendo...64..lets keep this active, so lets talk about when you first got your n64 if you got one!
I remember it was about a year after it came out, first games were Body Harvest, Goldeneye, and Mario Kart, me and my dad spent hours trying to figure out how to play body harvest, then spent hours trying to figure out how to beat the first level in goldeneye, but mario kart was fine, all though my dad wasnt to into "kiddie" games, so me and my sisters played (i was like 6 or 7) and then in the future i finaly beat the goldeneye level, got so far in body harvest then just got bored, and beat mario kart 50 million times. i got more games, then sadly got rid of it about a year ago, it was good to me

Oh man, I really don't think i can wait longer. I am more excited about this launch then I was about the XBox 360s.

I wasn't even excited about the 360, I saw it one day and played it and said... nah too expensive for buying.

well i was freaking exited about the 360 maan i was like super mega. i had an alarm at my phone and it counted down to christmas and sayd:
only "93" days left to u will get a 360! and then i did'nt get a 360 for
christmas and i thought it sucked. then i thought - ok i'l save up money.
2 months later i got 800$ for my birthday( i know that's sick) but i had completly forgot about the 360 cause then i was totally in to nintendo "revelution" as it was called then. and now i am even like a 100 times more into the wii ... it's completly wicked

haha, anyone know if their gonna charge money like for updates to games? like use wii points, that would suck, just like on the 360

i dont think so why would you do that they do it when the wii is sleeping so if that was true they would take your money and youll find out too late nintendo is not like that

no not like that, but like on 360 you can buy new call of duty 2 maps, for the wii, would they charge for the maps and you have to use wii points?

This post should get stikied! I have no money right now, so i gata get a job so i can save up for the wii. Im gana try to get it on launch day. As for the beloved N64, nothing shall surpass that glorious system! I think if nintendo would have stuck with the n64, and just expanded on it with mega upgrades it would rule the gaming scene! I mean even the ps2 can barely keep up with the n64. If you were going to go to the moon and had to bring one system with all the games that ever came out on it what would you bring? n64 of course!! The raw computing power of the n64 is so much better than even the next gen consoles today. it had almose 0 load time, unlike the ps2 at launch with 30+ seconds of load time. I remember playing ridge racer 5 on my new ps2 like the 2nd month it came out, and waiting like 3 min for it to load a race. I cant wait for the wii, it is going to be the next n64!!!

this is what i said...everyone was waiting for september 14-15th, and its already the 18th, almost 19th! (wow!!); anyways, to get to my point, after this date, only more waiting occurs, nothing more...now that Wii found out the release date what r Wii gonna do thats new? wait some more and get more excited just cuz u know the release date? lol...
