Mostly vertical, but if people are playing it with me I put it horizontal so if they knock it, it won't break.
Btw title made me chuckle, but I guess I've got a dirty mind
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.”

Mine is laying down just because it fits better in my entrtainment center that way but I like the vertical look so much more.

Mine kept getting knocked over, mainly because of the gamecube controllers, so I lay it flat.

Same here, the GC controller cords are a real danger when the unit is vertical.

I have mine standing upright next to the TV, in a corner, so no fear of it being knocked over by my little one.

I do notice though how hot it gets!

    Games I own:

I have a couple, but do not seem to work as nicely as those wired ones. Besides you lose the rumble feature. Also have a couple of wireless pelican controllers. Those are horrible on the Wii.
