no. it doesnt have to come with the game at release. need for speed carbon is scheduled in the near future to ahve an update for online gaming. most games that are out now will most likely be updated for online gaming. so yeah to answer ur question a game can be update for online gaming.

all though a game can be updated for online, most if not all wont be. because a company can make far more money by just making a sequel such as wii sports 2 or a new nfs

That and the Wii only has 512MB storage space so if games started getting a bunch of updates you would run out of space fast.

no, you could buy an SD card. plus i dont have any virtual console games, so ive got plenty of space. I have a 2GB Wii SD card and a another 513mb sd card...

Plus it can doesn't need to be in the Wii it can be in the disc if they do an update so Paintballer your point is invalid but Nic7 is right they are not going to make an update because the people who are going to buy that game already have but a sequel would sell far more

It would probably only run from the internal memory like everything else on it so far. They could put it on the new game discs but then everyone that already has it would be screwed.
