Considering 1 Wii can have up to 18 bluetooth and wifi signals (16 wiimotes, the signal from the wii to the wiimotes and wifi signal to your router) all emiting at the same time, one right in your hand. I feel its especially relevant.
Although I doubt many of you care, I thought I'd post this here incase.

Oh and you mods please dont delete this post, its a real health concern and I'd hate to have to go round posing it on every wii forum I can find, just so I can find one that wont delete my post.
You're so full of shit its amazing. Get a life for real. Theres a million more "dangerous" things than the Wiimote so I'll take my "chances" with this new method of playing.

Naw, really, I'm not that worried. In fact, I barely made the effort to process most of this. D:

Actually, when you think about it -- this entire topic is iffy.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 both use wireless controllers (I'm assuming both Bluetooth, but I don't know for sure), why not mention them too? :-/
    Owned: Excite Truck [8 GRP], Wii Sports [6G, 7R, 8P], Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess [9G, 5RP], Elebits [7GR, 5P], Wii Play [5G, 8RP], The Godfather: Blackhand Edition [10G, 9R, 7P], Super Paper Mario [8G, 6R, 5P], SSX Blur [10 GRP].
    Rented: Rayman Raving Rabbids [6G, 7R, 9P].
Wanted: Resident Evil 4, no Wii games currently.

    G = Gameplay Rating, R = Replay Value, P = Party Rating, all out of 10.

    ^^I agree with that^^

I'm sure that Bluetooth and Wifi can be, "dangerous" but I really doubt anyone is worried about this. Besides I have the kind of attitude thats like, "I'll wait for it to happen and then I'll begin to worry". Hell, knowing me I probably wont even worry after it happens either lol.

lol... The question is not weather microwave energy is particle energy or nonionizing energy. I'm quite aware that microwave energy is non-ionizing. the question is weather it is a carcinogen or not. Radiation does not have to be ionizing to be detrimental. Hence why govt. agencies across the world have a stated limit to microwave energy exposure. Microwave energy has been proven to cause cell death and DNA damage. Now for all you conspiracy theorists out there.. this is not an anti Wii thread. This is merely 2 gentlemen having an inteligent conversation. Which I'm rather enjoying. Thank You Maximus for a rare treat around here.

P.S. I was having a great time playing Super paper mario when a tumor formed on my thumb..... oh wait thats a callus

At the end of the day......

Breathing can kill you (Polluted air in most countries, USA & China being the worst)

Eating can kill you (Food poisioning, Salmonella, Bird Flu, Mad Cow)

Drinking can kill you (Undistilled water treatment)

In fact from the moment you are born you are dying.

My point being, everything will kill you in the end, so do the things you enjoy, then you'll die happy.

Im not anti wii (perhaps a little anti-nintendo since I owned a mega drive as a kid ), but I own a wii, and i too will take my chances.
But then I also smoke nearly 20(rollups) a day, eat anything regardless of health, drink and take drugs, dont get much exercise etc etc etc.

I only posted this cause a) i saw it on TV. b) i own a wii. and c) It seems like it could be a genuine long term health risk and would make an interesting talking point.

Last night i looked in the wii manual and it had a bit about RF saying:
To comply with RF saftey standards
Make sure you stay at least 20cm away when playing your wii!
I wondered whether that applies to the wii remotes too? I thought maybe id better get pokey stick to play it with. :P
