Is the the blue light surrounding the disk drive supposed to be on for as long as the Wii is turned on ? or is it just supposed to flash on and off really quick when you power on the Wii ?

I would answer this, but you people really need to learn to use the search button, so I'm not going to.

It flashes when you turn it on, then when you get mail, the blue LED glows.

is it really necessary to start a thread about this??
it's common knowledge that the day you turn ur wii on, the blue light remains until you remove the chord. if you turn it on and the blue light is not on, it's too late. the death sequence has started, and nobody on wiichat can help you after that.
Spoiler Alert!
It's In The Instruction Manual.

All of the above who are like, "Oh use search, fool'", they are actually happy you made this thread, as it gets their post counts up.
Also I don't know if its surrounding the Disc Drive, but it flashes when you turn it on, and it will stay on when you have New Mail.

Seriously?..are you asking this?Originally Posted by Macmutt
Yes use the search over on the right of the page. Or better yet read your manual.
And to whom said people like this thread to get their post count up, well that is not the case at all. A few of them have over 1000 posts, I dont think one will make the difference.

I agree with that... all we seem to hear in this forum is, 'use search'.
if its just as quick to answer as it is to say, 'use search', why not just answer? All those people with over 1000 posts, they all add up, each, 'use search' is another earned. Please give it a rest
