Wii takes a while to turn off.

After connecting my wii online, i noticed that everything seems to load slower. When i go in the Mii channel, the screen would go black for a few seconds before the channel is loaded. Even when i turn off my wii, it sometimes takes up to 40 seconds for it to turn off. Im guessing its the wiiconnect24. Anyone else expeirencing this problem?

i've never had that problem try updating to 3.00E thats the newest update

my wii takes a while to turn off and i can only put it on standby from the remote but it doesnt take 40 seconds, maybe 15-20 @ most

i know what u mean about the screen turning black for a bit.. it's like it's loading over and over. that happens when i quit a game or channell to go back to wii menu. But I never have a problem turning it off.
