    Most people that I know use the following Wii Remote Charger. It's called the Nintendo Wii USB Charger, which obviously, will charge your Wii Remote. They go for around $30 for a pair of 2. Below is a link/picture:

    ^^^that one needs to right next to the wii though. for me it would be nice to have a regular plug on it so it could sit next to the couch.

    Seems like a nice solution, comes with NiMH batteries, and replacement rear cover with rubberized grips.

    It has a convential 6' power cable so it doesn't need to be near the Wii - seems groovy:

    That's good to hear! We had no idea, the wifey and I were scoring some extra items (2GB SD) from our favorite media supplier and saw they had some Wii goodies so we got that charger (I was at least familiar with the brand) and component cable.

    I +did+ know that I didn't want to deal with batteries! Last all night Wii-o-rama required a battery sacrifice from two of our (non-Wii) remotes!

    yes. batteries= lots of frustration and wasted money. plus the nyko one comes with the sweet rubberized grip for those intense sweaty palm moments.
