    I don't think the Wii can play DVDs. Or games on a DVD disk.

    Wii games: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Zelda TP, SSX: Blur, Excite Truck, The Godfather, and Mario Kart Wii
    PC games: Call of Duty 4, Halo 1, UT3, F.E.A.R., and The Orange Box.
    PS3 games: Ratchet and Clank F.T.O.D., Resistance 2, Wipeout HD, and MGS4.

    I think he means putting games on DVD disks. I didn't know you could do that, but it's probably illegal.

    nintendo wii disks are a diffrent type of disk. the wii will not scan any disk eccept for that type. i have reasearched this for weeks. they should scan dvds and cds.

    nintendo wii cannot accept dvd's yet...........there is a rumor that there will be a firmware update in the future that will allow wii to play dvd'ss, i dont belive in rumors, i belive in cold hard facts
