    Classic Controller Mystery Slots

    What are the slots on the back of the classic controller? It looks like the controller is supposed to be clipped onto something. Does anybody know?

    nintendo planned an attachment that made it have handles like a GC controller, canceled.
    Wii games: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Zelda TP, SSX: Blur, Excite Truck, The Godfather, and Mario Kart Wii
    PC games: Call of Duty 4, Halo 1, UT3, F.E.A.R., and The Orange Box.
    PS3 games: Ratchet and Clank F.T.O.D., Resistance 2, Wipeout HD, and MGS4.

    jake is probably right but last i heard nintendo didnt confirm what teh mystery slot was for.

    i did see a picture of a third party product, that uses those holes to clip the classic controller onto the top of the wiimote, so that the cord dosn't drag around.......at least i think that's what it's for...
