Size of the Wii

I know the Wii dimensions are
215mm x 150mm x 51mm.

But when the Wii is sitting upright in its stand is it 215mm high or 215mm long?

In other words, is it as big as 3 DVD cases standing up or as big as 3 DVD cases lying down on their spine?

When standing upright, it is like 3 DVD cases standing on their spine. (Mr. Iwata said he laid down three DVD cases and said he wanted them that size)
