Glad We Got Our Wii When We Did

our best buy store received a shipment for 180 wiis today but they were all sold out right when they open. there were people who waited in long since 5 and they all received tickets. Will defiantly try again tomorrow. crossing fingers

I ordered my Wii a week or so before Christmas, last year. I really feel lucky to have ordered when I did, because everyone seems to be Wii-less nowadays.

I got mine on launch thanks to a preorder at GAME. My brothers getting one this Xmas also, it was bloody murder to find, but its safe in my house now. Two Wiis in one house might be a lil overboard...but now I get to play games he buys too, which is awesome.

Hello all. First post...
I bought my Wii last weekend. We checked ever EB Games, and Walmart in Mississauga. No dice. We drove to Markham and got it at Pacific Mall. Only option was modified, so we got that, paid a little bit more, but at least WII got it!

Walked into a Toys R Us on December 27 and there where 2 tickets in the Wii blue pouch.

Your best place to buy a Wii is on ebay. Expect to pay at around $500 for them. I just sold mine on there with a few games for $700.

The sooner you do it the better because the closer to christmas the more mad rush there will be to buy them, which equals higher prices. I can see Wii's going for 3x the retail value. Today's going rate on ebay is almost double.

Anyone with a few Wii's for Christmas would be smart to sell them. The going rate would more then pay for another one after Christmas... and lots of Accessories.

lol. i know im so glad i finally got my Wii. my friend keeps telling me that he wants one, but he expects his sister is getting one for xmas this year. i mean i have to say that i hope she gets one and all. but he has noooooo idea that its nearly impossible to get one. i want to chuckle and say good luck or some wise crack but id rather not start some form of argument. lol
