Low battery on the Wii-mote? I have never seen a Wii demo station in person so I don't know if the wii-mote is connected to a power source or not.

Ah I just got back from playing excite truck. Only got to play 1 race but I had an orgasm right then. The speaker was loud you could hear it clearly, the wii mote speaker i mean lol. But wow, Wii was just to good. All my dreams came true lol I had to take a shower to chill off I was so excited. After like 20 seconds you already forget your holding a wii-mote and it feels very natural. And again, speaker was great if game developers continue to use it wisely
dood, im pretty sure theres a setting where u adjust it, no big dealOriginally Posted by StevenNevets

i would imagine that there is a speaker volume. there would be some people who want to mute their tv so they can play at night. it would only be logical that they allow the wiimote to do the same. i mean think about it. you're playing excite truck on mute then all the sudden "DING!".... kind of awkward hehe....Originally Posted by StevenNevets

if you read matt cassamasinas report on his 10 hour zelda play u will read that in zelda there is a full setting to turn the volume up or down on the wiimote. im guessing this feature will be in most games that include audio played through this speaker. also if you were in a loud space that may have been the problem (my guess is it was loud because im sure there were people behind you who eagerly wanted to play)
my only issue with it is if the actual quality (not the volume) of the sound is good. i have not played the wii so i am verry curious of this
I really like the idea of the speaker in the remote. Nintendos games are always full of cool sound effects. I'd like to hear more speech in games. For example, on the 3-2-1 countdown on a race game a guy's voice would be shouting "Start your engines" or "Go"!! The importance of sound effects and music in games is often overlooked in favour of graphics, I think.
