Can the Wii be used to exercise?

I intend to save up for a Wii regardless, but I'm hoping they have a game or two that can help me solve the problem of my spare tire and especially my sleep apnea.(not to mention the back pain I started having two Tuesdays ago when I bent over to turn on the shower OWWWWWIIIIIEEEEEEE)

Any opinions on this possibility?

If you have to rely on a wii for excersize you might have an even bigger problem lol

But I am sure some of the sports games will have the potential to wear you out. But it's not like you are going to be isolated muscles while doing it.

If you do more movement then required then it sure will help. A full blown workout though? Probably not.

I think you'd really have to try to give yourself a workout with the Wii.

Though, Id like to see another DDR Mario Mix or something of the sort!

I'd certianly go to a sleep study for the apena... they'll give ya a machine that really helps... as for the spare tire the Wii isn't a personal trainer but it has potential to not make you a complete couch potato
