    Gameplay Hours...

    Wii:
Legend of Zelda TP ~70 hours

    PS3:
    Genji 12-15 hours

Genji's short gameplay was just announced from G4, but I thought the point of blu-ray was to make games bigger, or is that just Sony's defenition of Look Better?

Attacked weak point for massive damage!
this aint no bash on sony, just curiosity

omg, ur not getting zelda?!?!! its a must.

anyway, red steel will be about 13 hours, but for the game it is thats awesome.

this proves that blu-ray fails, its not needed much yet, maybe next gen. I mean, xbox360 has got some good games on DVD's. but i wouldnt say anything, i think blu-ray will be used good some time in the future, but its also down to developers and how they make the game.

I must disagree that Blu-Ray has failed. It's simply that game developers are not realising what they have. They're wasting it. Look at what some game developers can so with DVDs now compared to the first DVD based games. FFXII is a good example. It may not be for everyones tastes but there's a hell of a lot stuck on one little disc.

Blu-ray as it stands will not fail, simply due to the number of people that will buy a PS3. The concept of more storage = better games on the other hand could very well fail, and we'll see very soon if it will.
