    Wii online play...

    I am new to the Wii and I was wondering if you can play other people online? I am hooked up and ready to go.

    Yes, if you have a working internet connection, then you will be able to play online games for the Wii. Look for the blue Wi-Fi circle on the box of the game to confirm that it has online play.

    Yes you can but only with certain games. Some of which are listed below

    Guitar Hero III
    Mario Strikers
    Madden 08
    Endless Ocean
    Fifa 08
    Battalion Wars II
    Medal of Honor Heroes 2

    Games to be released this year

    Super smash bros brawl
    Mario Kart
    Sonic Riders : Zero Gravity
    NitroBike

    Hope it helps also the wi fi blue can be misleading as some games have this but only offer leaderboards. Two examples are below

    Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
    Geometry Wars: Galaxies
