    Is the Wii Region Locked?

    I was just wondering for sure if anyone knows that the system is infact region locked or not. I understand the whole PAL vs NCTS tv nonsense but all I care about is if I import a copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl in 3 days will I be able to play it.

    No you can't the only way of doing that really is modding your Wii or buying a Japanese Wii's and a cord converter. I also know that codejunkies has a Freeloader that will let you play the game but sure that the Wii updates have taken out that from working.

    Yeah it is region locked, but i hear that the ps3 isn't though, kickass or what!
    Consoles better tackle this issue better man, i can see in the future stores will be selling imports just for an extra 5 bucks. That would be great would'nt it!
    PS3 clearly know what they're doing.

    Did you know ps3's are transformers in disguise, why else would they be so expensive, GEEEZ!
