    I'm curious if the wii remote needs batteries, and if so what kind.

    would be easier to pickup a set of 4 recharageables and a battery charager. battery chargers are fairly cheap in the right places. I picked up one for £15 and it charages AA for my future wii and AAA for my mp3 player.

    on my xbox 360 got it about 3 months and havent changed batterys, but i only play it about 2 hours every night
